In
Renzulli’s Schoolwide Enrichment Model (SEM), adopted by Timberlane, there are
two types of
gifted
students: the school-house gifted and the creative productive gifted
child.The following sites
share
characteristics for both. Each type of
giftedness is needed and important. They must be
encouraged
and challenged. Students often flow from
one type to another, depending on their needs
or
stages of growth in their learning.
